Wagner Paint Spray Gun

Posted on September 9, 2010.
Wagner Paint Spray GunIn an airless, paint does not go through the interior of the filter or on the surface of it?

I have a Wagner airless paint that has been stored for some time, and I want to use it now. I was cleaning the paint dries. When I got it upside down under the faucet and let water in the bottom of the gun and pull the trigger, the water flows very well. But when I put the filter in the gun and do the same thing, no water comes out when I pull the trigger. The filter is usually low, but you can not push a wire all the way through it. I do not know if it's the way it is done or if you are able to blow air through the filter. If the paint is not supposed to pass through the filter and just near the outer surface, I can not understand why no water comes out of the gun when I put the filter in.

Although the pain through the filter you should not be able to pass a wire through the filter, there is something wrong if you can.
Remove the filter, filter the paint through a filter, store-bought Wal-Mart or the use of a nylon hose your wife. then try again. If it works, then the filter is clogged. They are about three or four dollars about four years, the next time they wash well. I have five airless sprayers, when I borrow or use, I flush through them it is safe to drink then spray WD-40 into the system to keep it loose, good works real .

the first problem that you have a gun Wagner
stop trying to clean the filter and go buy a new
painting goes through
When you are finished go buy a Graco Pro level or a unit of Titan from a professional paint store. be prepared to spend $ 2,000 or more and learn to clean it right. my rig has spray for six months before any problem.

The painting is supposed to flow through the filter, but those of Wagner and other paint sprayers are notorious aggrivations!

The filter you are talking about can be removed, and the sprayer still works fine. (Been there, done that over and over until I bought my compressor and sprayer)
