Thanksgiving Art IdeasI need some ideas of art preschool?

I need some ideas for art class for 4-5 years old. Thanksgiving related or not. I just need some ideas.

* Sets: Required: corn, paint, cardboard, paper Directions: Make placemats with the children. Take corn (kids love the bombing of popcorn and to break for tea) dipped in paint and corn roll over construction paper 9x18. The drawings are amazing. Different companies corncobs can be used for variety. I used to paint these in boxes, to help reduce the mess. Dry the pages. Add colored leaves cut, pilgrim hats cuts, or cuts of turkey with the child's name (or symbol) on them. Laminate and use for tea and the Thanksgiving holiday.

* Corn: Need: tissue paper, paper, glue Directions: Take tissue paper (red, brown, yellow, orange and shades of those colors) and cut into squares. Give each child a piece of paper that looks like an ear of corn. Then let them be crunch and glue on tissue paper, or simply place it flat on. When dry, add tissue paper envelopes. They are so bright! Before the project to let children play with and feel maize.

* Multi-Color Hand Turkey: Need: paint, paper, marker Directions: Paint child's palm brown and then paint each finger using one color for each finger: red, green, yellow and orange. Have child press hand on a piece of paper. After the paint dries, you can add eyes, beak, and that little red buckles under the spout.

* Turkeys Spice: Need: paper, glue, Spice Route: Trace each child's hand on paper. Let them "paint" glue on the palm and fingers with a brush. Let them sprinkle the spices on the fingers of different Thanksgiving, nutmeg, salt, pepper, cinnamon, allspice, or similar. Let them feel the smell of a Thanksgiving dinner.

* In the wake of Thanksgiving: Need: paper, old shoes, paper plates, paint Directions: For wall or individual purposes. Draw outline of Turkey, side view.
Take old, used shoes, have paper plates and paint ready for disposal. After the children color in their turkeys, they make their shoes, dip in paint and paint releases for turkey feathers. It's adorable as a bulletin board and can be laminated and turned into carpet place for Thanksgiving. Add the caption above.

Ask children to find their hands on different colors of construction paper. Cut the feet and hands. Have the children glue the hands behind the heel of his foot cut off (for birds). Have children cut and glue on eyes, turkey, and spout.
