This year, Deck the Halls with beautiful ball creations medleys of rich colors and styles. Make your own holiday ornaments to add among your cherished oldies and to treasure for years to come. Decorate the home with impressive ornaments has never been easier to achieve, using only a handful of basic craft supplies. Glass ball ornaments with sophistication from eclectic to elegant designs are painted with bright colors and beautifully decorated with copper leafing, rice paper, beads, tassels and ritzed in style.

Apart from decorating a traditional Christmas tree ornaments ball make decorations to beautify a different entrance, a corridor, or through a chimney. Mixtures of solid colors or striped balls are simply splendid displayed in large vases, large bowls or incorporated into a dramatic center.

If you live in a small space, decorating with ornaments is a great way to add wonder to your decor without incorporating a large tree. Smaller glass versions are perfect to brighten the tree and table to create floral designer.

Preparation of the base of the glass ornaments:

Prepare the glass surface for painting by washing the balls thoroughly with soap and water and wipe dry.

Attach a decorative chain to the tip of the CAP metal that come with glass balls. It makes it easier to manipulate the balls while painting and practical to hang to dry on an ornament stand or a hanger with pegs.

Paint the surfaces of glass balls with a soft brush with paint stained glass in your choice of colors from emerald green, red, purple and turquoise blue. I used a rich palette of amber, red, brown and burnt. Since they are only decorative objects, I used paint solvent stained because the colors are brilliant and they do not need to be in heat. Once painted balls hang to dry air. They dry in a few hours and be ready to decorate within 48 hours. Use a solvent to clean your brushes well.

paper collage eclectic painted glass balls are garlanded with scattered pieces of colored rice cakes and white. Use paper bits and pieces leftover from other holiday projects. Apply a layer of Mod Podge on the surface of the ball. Application and random pieces of paper with tiny layer around the ball, leaving exposed areas to see its color. To ensure the composition of paper in place, apply a coat of Mod Podge top and let dry. Once dry, apply a coat of varnish to make them shine and glow bright.
