We all know how we can spend hours up hours of watching our children were involved in the development of their junior masterpieces. From finger painting, drawing, coloring daily basis, your child can quickly build beautiful pieces of art. The question quickly becomes, however, what do we do with all the artistic treasures of our little junior Picasso developed. I know that I was personally guilty of sneaking one or two pieces of artwork between different sections of the newspaper in the morning, heading toward the basket. Remember ... I felt a panged of guilt when I take these out of my house but I'm not even an inch to more than 'display space on my fridge (I even started to publish works of art surplus on our refrigerator and garage!). But then I found the answers (with the help of my husband ...) here are some tips I think moms everywhere will enjoy:
Convert your garage into an art gallery
On the suggestion of my husband, we started to "View" art of our children in the garage. Not only is it a great way to add color "and" interest in an otherwise typically dull, it's a great way to keep your child's talents, front and center. creations of my children are the last thing I see when I'm headed to the office in the morning and the first thing I see when I come home in the evening. My income children that they feel proud that their work is displayed for the world to see (or just our family!).
Frame your favorites
I recently started coaching my children is really "good" paintings and drawings. I spent a hallway in my house that is lined with artwork from my children. I bypassed the expensive frames, special glass with anti-glare, matte beveled, specialized staff and found that I could achieve the same look (almost) For storage when stores like Michael, Joann Fabrics, and the target , is a sale on frames and mats. I even picked up some frames at the dollar store for - you guessed it - only a dollar! In this case too, I like to see the works of my child framed and posted and they like having their work "showcased".
Portfolios of Love
I also recently launched a "portfolio" of works of art of my children. I just scan our favorite (whether at home or at our local Kinko's), name and date of each piece, and then once we reach a good number of pages of art, we bind all together! If it's for a special gift for grandma, dad or other relatives, we integrate and raffia or a ribbon that link to the "portfolio" of more "festive" look. These Portfolios are also a great way for us to hold mom and collect the treasures of our children for our personal pleasure as a mother, once our children have grown and when the summer days with our children are distant memories .
Here's to a happy mother;
