Spray Paint Manufacturers

I want the symbol keywork Coheed & Cambria spray painted on my bass drum head as a tribute to my favorite band. I was going to spray paint on the manufacturer's name in black on the head, then spray the logo on white with a stencil of the logo. Does this work?
