Pot Painting DesignsSimple techniques you can use to create a professional image to the finished painting your home

Acrylic paints are by far the paint products the easiest to work with. Acrylic is easy to clean, dries quickly and does not run or sag, unless you apply insane amounts or less moisture and cold weather arrives to it. It is really easy to apply, spread and work with.

So really, how can it be?

To be honest, most of which have never learned the basics it can be really difficult. I often cringe when I see people unskilled painting. Maybe it's a matter of pride, I do not know and I will not be hard, after all they are doing their best, but some of the techniques they use leaves much to be desired.

Painting in the right direction is not difficult, just a little practice, but we must first see what bad habits you picked up and what your application techniques really are. So I can show you the correct path.

Once you have a few of these basics down and took a little practice, then painting with acrylics will soon become easy and you'll be applying paint with a professional, quality finish to each times.

1) - First things first - acrylic paint well, you have to paint like you do not pay for the paint!

If you want a nice paint finish, you must apply the right amount of paint. You should never spread paint just because you want to save money or for any other reason. It simply does not work, it leaves you with a layer of paint you can see through it, seems irritated, has an uneven finish, or is just very ordinary looking.

To paint well, forget the cost of paint and apply a good even, thick coat. Of course, not thinking too much or it will all collapse your wall, but we get to what is the exact amount that we are going.

2) - How to apply acrylic paints correctly using a brush

When I learned to paint, I was made to do everything with a 3 inch (7mm) brush. This includes cutting, Windows Paint, Polishing off woodwork, everything.

Now, if I do not expect to have the same control on a brush that exercise taught me, it will help you understand some of the differences between one person finishing on all DIY using cheap, low, brushes will get fiddly compared to a painter who has taught the correct way using the proper equipment.

The number one reason to be taught this way is that you can get a better finish with a brush over 3 inches of what you can with a small brush. The second reason, and it is also an important factor is that much faster once you develop the skills necessary to cut a larger brush.

Good quality brushes have little place for fiddly work but the majority of your acrylic painting must be done with a brush of 3 inches.

So what is a good brush then?

Painting with a store of 2,000,000 trading or brush will produce a $ 3 finish really crap. Use these types of brushes for cleaning engine parts!

As I said before, I support the range of Purdy brushes. They are oddly constructed, they narrow down to a point in cutting into thin at the ends of hair, they retain their shape very well and usually come with a clever storage lid designed to keep the shape of the bristles during storage. It is so that you do not set about to start painting, take your collection of brushes for delivery to find the bristles are now bent in all directions except one used.

But here's the best part of the Purdy's! With proper care and proper use of these brushes last for years! I was one of those types of 3 inches, just like the one you can see on this page since 8 years! It's the same brush no different brush types! 8 years, now is a good brush!

Get a decent brush, it is essential for the creation of a good paint finish.
