Paint Colors For Small BathroomsNeed help choosing paint colors for small bathrooms and small kitchen.?

The toilet, tub and pedestal sink will be white. I thought a fresh green.
The kitchen runs along the dining room and it is right next to the bathroom.
For cooking, I thought a light beige on the walls to match the cherry floors and white cabinets.
Im not good with colors. Help!

Your kitchen will no doubt look good with any color, but I think beige is a nice neutral color safe.

As for the bathroom, this may seem strange - but - bright white. Let me explain. First painting of the bathroom must be made to be applied in damp areas. All paint stores have a good reputation based paint for use in bathrooms. The gloss paint provides lasting and it is easy to clean and resists mold and mildew. Regarding the "white" Well, I'm not sure, but I like to accessorize, and I tend to get a little bored after a while, and like to mix things up a bit. That said, if I paint the bathroom white, I can change the color "of my bathroom easily by simply changing the accessories! Thus, changing the shower curtain, towels, soap dispensers, window coverings, and a candle or two - I can go to have a "green" bathroom on a "blue" bathroom in one day .

Oh, and if you do go this route, it may seem austere at first that your painting, but wait until all of your orders is back up before taking a step back and take stock of view over .

Good luck and happy painting!

I would not go very green in the bathroom, because it will make your skin appear green when you use the mirror. It has to do with the way light is reflected by the color of the walls and in the mirror. In the bathroom, you should think of space being somewhat "isolated" - and this depends on your sources of light (if you have Windows in it, or any artificial light, and how many of each).

It almost seems that you should change the color - not beige in the bathroom and the green in the kitchen. (You can always add a little color in your cozy bathroom with accessories such as towels, artwork, etc.) Kitchens can usually brighter colors or bright, if that's your style. Make sure the color in the kitchen is not inconsistent with the dining room, it should "flow" very well together (usually, unless you have a sense of drama).

You can also try some samples "virtual" on one of the major sites like Behr paint brand, etc. Good luck! :)

I think your choice of bathroom are great. (I have a photo on my blog posting today that shows the green-white combo beautifully.) Supplemental colors that work great with the white light is a plum or blue sky.

Both are hot colors for 2009, according to the Color Marketing Group, which has been accurately forecasting color trends for more than 40 years. Read their full report and some photos that I chose to illustrate trends, including green / white combo.

You can find additional color inspiration for your kitchen, too. I'm liking blue light for that space, too:

I'm getting enough green vegetables. my bathroom is a color 'gray softly, very nice light gray bright white wood floors and trim. It is very spa like! insofar as a kitchen, I like the idea of a standard beige hot chocolate, again with beautiful white borders!

Try this:

as a designer, Benjamin Moore paint colors are very nice, and beige are also more easily accommodate accessories and other colors in your area

Try an eggshell white to tan bathroom.Light in.
