Another suggestion paint color? I need suggestions on painting my basement. One side will be devoted to a large bowl with an entertainment center and one side will be devoted to the playground. There are no walls, open floor plan. I am looking for a tone will be muted cute (play area for children), but can also be used for a more adult relaxation area. What color to choose?
Because it is "the same space" still must be divided into zones .... you want to use variations of light and darkness of the same color.
Use a monochromatic color scheme such as the green ...... just use a light green area for children .... and a dark green for a seating area ....
If you do not want it to be all one color ..... use a mixture of brown sand with the Greens and a color accent ... use a mandarin or an orange.
Bascially, you want a brighter color for the neighborhood kids ... and a darker color for the larger living room .... but you do not want it to be so clearly broken.

How about "White Summer" by Sherwin Williams? This is not a blank * white, but a beautiful cream color. Check it out.

As for the children paint the walls with chalkboard paint so that children can become little artists.
Just painted the room of my niece 19 years-that's really cool muted green (shoots bambou''SW7733 #, Harmony Interior Latex from Sherwin Williams). It is a very cheerful person if she wanted a color that reflects this in his room, but also wanted to feel grown up. The green works well for her personality, she can add warm browns to feel grown up without the sensation of green. I think it can work for what you are looking for as much as the balance of space kid or adult. Good luck!
I guess it depends on the color of your section. I painted mine in a very light yellow can not really remember the name but it is in the paint Behr. I found two colors similar to mine, 340B-4 Lemon Drops Lemon or breath-350B 4. Two-tone white and yellow also looks great, but with small hands it might be more difficult to clean. The lighter color, it is nice and bright for a region does not receive more sun. Here is the website Bers. It is interactive so you can get a pretty good idea of the colors match better. Enjoy!
