Does magnetic paint / drawing table really? I thought perhaps superimposed on a normal wall room.
as the magnetic paint and then spray paint it with blackboard.
do magnetic paint really work and how either / both the costs?
suggestions on how to do it? Thanks aa lot!
My experience with magnetic walls is that they are quite bumpy. I used the one where you mix with flakes of iron primer. You also need to put a couple of layers to ensure that there is a large quantity of iron on the wall. I also need a few coats of paint to completely cover the magnetic zone. Finally, you need to use rare earth magnets for maximum magnetic force (please be careful with them, they are very strong).
After all this, I could put photos, pieces of paper, and small picture frames on the wall. The only concern I have with your plan is that the drawing surface is strewn with pitfalls. Apart from that, I think it should work. I see no chemical incompatibility as long as you let the paint dry between each coat.
According to the site magic magnetic flakes cost $ 75 to mix for two gallons of primer. That covered my 3.5ft by 30ft area four times. Do I really pay so much? Well, perhaps the premixed stuff is cheaper and not as bosses. Good luck!
Edit: Someone is selling the painting magnetic board. I look at the reviews of it since I have no experience with it. The link is below.
Interesting question. Like many others I have seen on HGTV the use of these products. I think they are both a roll on request, come in colors (or make color), but I do not know about using them together. Perhaps HGTV check and look for info about it. I'll do the same thing ... Good Luck - LT
Krylon makes each in boxes of spray paint. I'm trying this technique on the back of a door. I sent an e-mail Krylon to ask this specific question. You are welcome to send me an email and see what I found by trial and Krylon!
