Live Paint Bucket

I took hours to create a path pen tool to create an outline around the letters. There are no gaps. Firstly, for some reason, I do not see my background pen unless I hover over them (how they put in red light - if you can figure that out ...). When I try to fill the pot with live painting it plays in the field of law, but the filling is always strange, ugly, lo-res textures. AARGH! Please help!

Check for style.

Probably the style property is not set to normal. (Style certain types of texture that combine with the color selected automatically)
