Latex paint removal from wood working? Last painters were pigs. How do I get latex paint out of the woodwork?
A little tung oil will not only remove the paint, but it will also make the wood look like new.
A product called Goof-Off. It is the best. I removed four years of old paint from natural wood, and wooden ceilings. You can buy by the box at Wal-Mart in the paint department. It is cheaper than Walmart Home Depot. I promise you, this stuff works!
heat gun and a scraper in various sizes depending on the detail of the trim. ask the hardware guys to explain its use. easy
process.
just use a good putty knife.
Latex POP right off the wood.
lacquer thinner and a clean cloth will do. ---- As if the painting is in a deep place, wrap a cloth around the blade and clean Puddy. Rubb but have to hard, slowly.
pigs were not painters. So please do not use the term artist .... to such persons. I am a painter and well that I said. what kind of guys have a bad reputation as care for the trade.
A product called Goo Gone is available in most hardware stores. It works very well and does not damage the surface of the paint has been splashed on it just removes the paint splatters.
