A brief history of John Lennon Like most of us associate with the Beatles John Lennon, recognize very little of John Lennon's solo career and accomplishments more. This intelligent man, known for his rebellious nature and gentle spirit made a name not only as a band member, but also as an activist, songwriter, peace activist and author. Even away from the spotlight, Lennon created a life foster / and took the time to be a man of nature to the average.
John Winston Ono Lennon was born Oct. 9, 1940 in Liverpool. Lennon was living with his parents for a short time, then spent the rest of his youth living with his aunt and uncle in Woolton. Lennon formed The Beatles in 1957 at the age of sixteen. The group, still recognized as a historic moment in musical history, the charts almost immediately.
Even with the growing success Beatles, Lennon decided to break away from the band in September 1969, the release of her debut solo album. The album, John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band, was released in 1970, even through the indignation of the media after leaving The Beatles. In 1971, John Lennon became heavily involved in the anti-war, liberation, the timeless, "Imagine". He has attended several events, when you talk about and sing songs of peace and humanity.
In August 1971, John Lennon and wife Yoko Ono moved to New York, where they released together, Happy Xmas (War is Over). John planned his feminist side, creating songs with Ono to women's rights and racial issues. Lennon followed the album with several songs about equal rights and peace, as well as several television shows to his music and the message understood.
John Lennon had two children: Sean and Julian. Although Sean and John Lennon's relationship was strained because of its impact Ono, Lennon spent much time with him after his retirement from the music industry. Julian was much more to music, and got along better with his father. Julian has even been invited to play drums on "Ya Ya", a song by Lennon album Walls and Bridges 1974.
In the late 1970s John Lennon and Yoko Ono took a break from the world, living a life very introverted in the Dakota in New York. On December 8, 1980 Lennon was shot dead by Mark Chapman, after autographs a copy of Double Fantasy. Ono has made a declaration upon the death of John Lennon "There is no funeral of John. John heart and prayed for the human race. Please pray the same for him."
Following the murder, "Imagine" topped the charts for an estimated eight weeks. Lennon and installation art by Yoko Ono has been viewed more than ever, and his comic strip and cartoon was published. Also, after the death of John Lennon, Skywriting by word of mouth and Japan through the eyes of John Lennon: A Personal Sketchbook, were also released. Some have said that the popularity of John Lennon rose to the highest level after traumatic fatalities. Today, apart from the music of John Lennon, more than ten artistic monuments around the world have been created for the artist beloved.
