Room Interior painting problems? We recently bought a new home. I went to the store and bought Kilzer tinged painted paint our small hallway. The corridor is a very pale pink, and I bought a dark red hue. I am the worst moment of the painting. It does not seem to paint in places and I painted several times and it does not completely cover. What am I doing wrong?
get a primer tinted to have a shade that can match as closely as you can paint your placing on the wall, I bet you will use semi-gloss, if the Reds can be a color difficult to cover, if you use semi-gloss paint your walls the first layer of matte painting because the painting is flat, has more pigment (the ability to hide) were also at semi- brilliant, they should leave some pigment, so they can use more resin so that the paint is glossy so the paint gloss and does not
It looks like it could be something on the wall to prevent paint from sticking (for lack of a better word.) I would try to wash the wall to see if you can get rid of everything there.
Have you checked the label to see if it Kilzer is on a smooth "surface? There may be a penalty on the wall if it had not been cleaned of oil, lacquer or clay surfaces.
Try sanding a very small portion of the surface that does not Kilzer, repaint and verify any difference in bonding, if so, the whole square will be sanded, repainted.
If not, check the store helps point the experience and advice.
what size nap roller sleeve you use? DONT use anything on a roll of 3 / 8 inch, maybe a 1/4.dont try to apply a ton of paint, even, thin layers will work better and ensure that each layer has a chance to dry, red and look away if you splochy b4 its recoverable dry.red is a pain in the thigh while the patient is lucky key.good
