LOL, I honestly do not think you get in "trouble" in itself ... as I do not think face painting is against any dress code!

You will probably have many strange looks, but go ahead and do it - and have fun. I LOVE rebellion, I encourage my kids to do stuff like this all the time. My 11 year old son is currently Sporting an orange Mohawk. ;)

Except that it is the Spirit week, I doubt you'll get away with any type of face paint. It would be considered a distraction. They probably just tell you to wipe it off or go home.

Why not, instead, spend some extra time to verrrrry subtle do an excellent job of eye makeup and make it go with your outfit.
People would even notice ... but they could say something nice.

I lived the hippie era .... there was not much makeup, except for concerts. Everyday life has been pretty clear hippie. They had jazz on Saturday night for tourists from the suburbs ..... it was quite the sight to see.
But every day, they often wore no makeup at ALL.

You may be sent to the principal's office or something. It depends on the rigor of your school district. I know there was a high school and three girls for Halloween dressed as Captain Underpants. Instead of going "no shirt" they bore the "combination" which covered their heads. They are technically not show anything because they were covered in their neck to ankles. They have trouble because school officials deemed offensive to reason lame. I doubt that if you paint your face you're in trouble. Make sure you do not delay if the school can make an adjustment.

IDK. You should do it and if you do get into trouble just call it a political statement or artistic and continue the pants off the school.

The school can not do anything for u. unless the rules say u can not put anything on ur face when u can get detention or worse. But they can not do anything but ask you to remove it if it is not a school rule. I say look over the school rules to ensure that it is authorized.
