High Heat Engine Paint

Posted on February 25, 2010.
High Heat Engine PaintTemp. painting engine for heat Shields, the intake manifold and valve cover?

What type of paint is best for areas with a high temperature of an engine? I made my entrance air blue with spray paint DupliColor 500 degree and it worked great, but I want something with a greater resistance to heat for areas that get my motor is the warmest. They graduated in 1200 spray paint and noticed, but I was wondering what else is there.

I never had any luck w / parts store at high temperature paint still looks bad after a while the engine is running.

Been using "Ionoclad" covering 4 years in my restaurant business the first job I did with her 4 years ago still looks new. Highly recommended its carquest available and I think too PANA.

try rustoleum

THT brand for very high temperatures is great. I recommend it over the painting's 1200 degree DupliColor

I saw the line of DupliColor Spraypaint specifically labeled aerosol engine. Me and my brother used an orange on a Chevrolet 455 youth and is held in place very good. You might also consider powder coating, in some cases.
