Halloween Bat Clip ArtHalloween Party Ideas 2009

Halloween falls on a Saturday this year - an excellent opportunity to have a Halloween party. Whether you are a party with a child or an adult party there are many themes and ideas that will keep your guests talking for years. Here are some fun and easy suggestions:

Costume party. This is not new, but you can put a twist on it. You can make a Pirates and Princess party for children or a male / female pirate party for adults. Famous party that works best for adults, with costumes available for celebrities, sports figures, politicians, etc. If your crowd is not the type to put on elaborate costumes, just ask each of s to dress in black and orange.

Spooky non-party. Children, especially young people may be frightened by the dark side of Halloween. If you want a non-party disaster for children, try a different theme, as a part of sports (where you have to dress like dancers, hockey players, football players, sumo wrestlers, etc.) Super Heroes is also a fun theme. Some girls could be princesses and fairies. animal costumes is another crowd favorite easy - especially if you decorate the room like a barn Halloween.

Invitations. Home made invitations are always fun and impressive. You can print photos, clipart or photos from the Internet to glue on the paper. You can also cut the invitation in silhouette - like ghosts, pumpkins, witches hats, etc. The invitation may be something that flows when the viewer is opened. Stickers and confetti are easy ways to decorate the cards. Keep the card stock in the Halloween like black, orange, purple or green.

Decorations. My favorite part look for Halloween is to replace all the lights in the party room with black lights. Put black tablecloths on the tables, the walls are covered with black paper or poster in black. cotton wool spread thin to look like cobwebs, can decorate your table in black fabric. Get white plastic plates so that they glow in the dark and seem to float on the table. For children, Mountain Dew is a drink very clearly to plastic cups, because it glows in the dark. Garlands of orange lights are available on many dollar stores. Use these online portals for walls, or put inside a pumpkin instead of candles.

Food: black and orange foods are still appropriate (such as orange cheese, Cheetos, black licorice, chocolate, cupcakes, pumpkin) as Spooky baked goods and candies. Cut pumpkins and align them with clear plastic bags to use as bowls or flower centers chip. A bowl of ice cubes or fruit punch of bright color for drinks are fun.

Music. Burn a CD in advance with Halloween and songs like thriller. The sound effects are fun to mix in. You can often rent or buy dry ice machines or disco balls, if you want to do the dance really "Spooktacular."
