Do fireproof sprays of / paintings to protect your home from wildfire as bad as the fires in Victoria? If your house is adequately protected by other means, eg burning of vegetation on foot, covered gutters, windows, etc. will spray fire retardant / wood exterior paint with a brush fire deemed resistant product, your house (and you ) to survive bush fires heats up as the recent Victorian bushfires Black Saturday?
Will they really protect a home against bushfires like these? Or is it home just become engulfed in flames and have no chance?
The painting is not to protect a house. What most people do not realize is the intensity of the heat during a bush fire in Australia. Houses caught fire before the flames reach the bushfires, the heat is so great that the houses exploded. I do not think the fire-resistant coatings are worth ...... cracker if things do not burn, they just melt.
Keep in mind that the painting is "warm" not strong "fire resistant"
