Has anyone ever painted the exterior of the Victorian Rose Room Sherwin Williams SW2017? We are building a house and one of the color schemes were painted stucco. On the paint chip looked light brown, and the shade of color is listed as Brown. We fear that the House will look as rosy as it is difficult to say a quick sample???
He certainly has a pink tint to it ... I'll tell you my experience ... I chose a color very similar ... My husband has been painting away all day and when I got back (gone a full day), the front of the house was painted halfway ... All I can do is the laughter of the house looked like an Easter egg! My husband turned three shades of red, saying he should really look like an idiot paint his house pink ... This color was very similar ... But he showed pink ... If you like the shadow ... you can darken them 25-50% ... That might help ... or you could do the obvious and a painting area of the house with paint sample and see what it looks like ... You have to pay for it, but better then making a huge mistake ... There are so many beautiful colors to use brown with shades of pink ... You can use the Victorian Rose for accents ... Trim ... door ... etc. .. It is a beautiful color but I think your concerns about my good home to look pink ...
I have never, not yet.:) I think you're right on the color.Unless you are a pink lover, I spend.
Go to the SW and buy a liter and Rool an area of 10x10 ... two layers and let dry. Then look at different times of the day
