Craft Glass Paint

Should I use craft "glass" of painting? Is there a way to prepare the surface so I can use a latex paint I used on a wall (game)?

I used Krylon spray paint on ceramic glass lamps / that I had. I've used for years and gave them to a friend. Make sure that they are clean (no dirt or grease on them) and dry. Let the paint dry for a while. I painted mine a burgundy (yuk sounds, but it shows the colors of my sofa). I put a gold medal bradied Cording around the lamp. Looks great! Good luck.

My mother painted an old lamp ceramic, it belongs to the ordinary house paint and a brush. (I did not much care for her, but it was years and I've never noticed any scaling.)
