The window is about creativity that is pure excitement, passion and yes fun satisfaction. This happens when you least expect it for some it happens while staying in a cottage at the beach. The salty air, seashells and interesting things lying on the beach spark creativity. Stained Glass Art and Crafts are born each day in the souls of those who need to do something.

Creativity is equal satisfaction. Creativity needs to be affordable and accessible to all.

stained glass is a passion but also a way that people are attracted by its textures, colors and infinite. It is different from drawing, pottery, and other art forms but it merges all the other ways to find a new perspective on our world.

Unfortunately, many people who attend craft shows think of stained glass as a decorative art. Often, I am going to say that I know has a stained glass company and they are automatically ask me if I could make a stained glass lampshades, or perhaps a window. Most people do not include the cost of glass, paper, came to be welded, not to mention the patina and the use of tools and time.

Most of those who walk in Wal-Mart can find a stained glass lamp for $ 20. The problem is that they probably bought something made in China and, unfortunately, done by someone who has gained a few cents so big Wal-Mart could pull off a pittance. Another concern is that due to a profit margin that makes stained glass lamps or sun sensors must cut corners in material types and quantities of materials they use.

It was mentioned recently by a stained glass artist in Roanoke, Virginia, they were ordered to secure pieces of stained glass made in China and noted that the documents were not properly welded. It is up to you get what you pay for.

Another strong association for many of us is religious art in the windows of the church. They are all attractive and appropriate use of stained glass, although lately I have noticed churches in Roanoke using the opaque glass, as opposed to translucent. This is not a correct conception of the glass rather they thought they would hang.

It is exciting to see contemporary art in stained glass. stained glass as a hobby is easy to learn, and it is not hard on the hands and, finally, do not say as knitting. It is a great passion for retirement communities, home schooling of children and monitoring programs. In fact, I made colored glass panels with children aged 10 9-13.

As a painter, I explore light, color and texture. As a sculptor, I create pieces that are both in three dimensions in reality and also give the viewer an illusion three-dimensional, and they are tactile - an exhibition of recent years, almost everyone has stopped to watch my windows also touch and feel the contours. Most people love glass, and are fascinated by its transparency or translucency and the way he plays with light. Colors and textures float in, as if in free space, and movement of changes in the source of light, as if alive.

Stained glass is often called an architectural art form as it is usually part of a building. However, the work can not serve two distinct functions in the architectural framework. Some work is in architectural design, with abstract and geometric elements which are continuous with or reflect the lines and shapes in the other building components, or perhaps change the look of the world beyond the window. It is part of the architect and try to create a new place. The connection that the window in the wall of the building is not visible.
