Can anyone tell me what these letters say about Chinese ink watercolor / Deux-Montagnes? I have a watercolor ink / which has two large mountains with two Chinese (Hong Kong) ladies walking along the coast and there is a river which separates the mountains. A small boat is also in the water, with a cabin of the scene. On the lower right side of this painting is of two rows of letters calligraphy.
It would help enormously if we could see the painting.
The straight line is: (欲) e c 阿 e 茅屋, 还 " a口 泊 渔舟.
"欲 didn't show" in your image.
What I write is simplified character and what your painting is in traditional characters.
The traditional is (欲) e c 阿 e 茅屋, 还 " a口 泊 渔舟.
There are some differences because there are many styles of Chinese writing.
They are two sentences from a poem dictated by Suzhi (苏辙) (1039-1112).
I try to translate the meaning of these two lines: I want to build a thatched cliff, and my position in Xikou fisherboat.
The left line is: 六十 五年, s oee人 张s千 爰.
The translation is: the 65th year (DRC), the fall Sichuan Zhang Yuan Daqian.
This line is inscribe: 1976, autumn, Zhang Yuan, Daqian (his other name)
There is a inscribe similar to yours. http://images.gg-art.com/artist/photos/1 ...
So it is a Chinese painting of Zhang Daqian, an artist well known in China.
