Chandelier Wall Art

Posted on March 11, 2010.
Chandelier Wall ArtI am engaged to be married in a year, and I'm curious to know how much money the newlyweds move to furnish a house?

Our house is ground floor breakfast room, kitchen, dining room, living room, family room, fireplace, half bath
Upstairs: double bed and bathroom upstairs with another room for a filing office, computer, bills, etc.

Need everything (curtains, chandeliers, wall hangings, furniture, lamps)

unless you already have a couch located in the family room with lamps, and table and kitchen chairs, and a computer with printer and cooking utensils.

you really do not go buy everything in one trip .. you buy things .. you start with your base, which can cost as much as what people sell on craigslist or as expensive as a sofa 2000 dollars ..* sofas, beds, blinds, curtians, bins, tables *... and as and when you look for things and things to share .. there is no way to fix a sum of money to your question because so many people already have most of what they need, and everyone has a different budget ..

Unless you have lots of money to spend on furnishing your home, you'll probably do most of us there (please do not believe everything you see on TV ... NO, we get a new house fully furnished in 3 months!). This means that you do a little at a time ...

Of course, it would be nice to just buy everything you need at once, but even if we could afford it, you are not happy with it. Furniture a little get together over time (and by "time" I mean years!) ... you buy a sofa here, there is a table ... you do what you can, as you can afford to do so.

I can not give you a $ $ $ amount. Much will depend on where you live, the size of your new place, your income (and how much you want to budget for furniture), if you want absolutely new, upscale, if you're ready to restore Used some treasures ... many factors.

Congratulations on your commitment, and enjoy your new supply!

It depends on how you shop .. Where and when. Search for "clearance items, used clothing for travel accessories. Keep an open mind. If it is large, but not the right color ... is painting. You can really have fun if you keep your mind on what you can do "with this unique piece. Also, check garage sells, especially" the shift in sales. "Keep a notebook to write down the window sizes, sample color (if you can find a piece of hardware you need to buy a big bag of yarn in every color and use it to match. Hey, have fun and shop wisely and you will not have to worry about how much money is at stake!

Okay, unless you're ready to go into debt or have had parents with money willing to lend / give, accept that you have to stick to what you have, what you really really need (like a bed), and to acquire the rest later or in time ... This is what most newlyweds do if they have no orders already. However, the things you'll need curtains or blinds, towels, cleaning / maintenance (empty trash, etc.), bedding, bedroom furniture, desk and chair can be (computer) and large devices (if they do not come with your house). Outside of appliances you can get these for $ 3-7K, the largest being the purchase of bed / mattress. The price range is due to the quality / style / brand differentials, low-cost base (or creation - like making your own curtains) to Nice with some premium features (but not much).

The total amount for a home varies greatly, but generally you can provide a home for $ 10K-20K decently enough (depending on what you "need"). Not very pretty, but new. If you want more, fine, but you can easily spend thousands on a sofa ...

I suggest you make a list of furniture that you want (sofa in the living room itself.
