Can You Paint LaminateHow to paint almost nothing cheap chic!

How to paint almost anything from cheap to chic!

With the current economy, most people are cautious with their spending at home. So what do you do when you're a little afraid to spend money but want to live in comfort and style at home? Answer - think creatively:

  • Use what you have at home in a "different" (placement of new furniture)
  • Filter your spending (Do you really? Love? Need help? Disambiguation)
  • Hire an interior decorator to help you save money, time and avoid errors
  • Think Cheap to Chic with Paint!

I said and I repeat, "painting" is the cheapest way to transform your home to "feel" and "look" different. The photo above is one of my creations. My client wanted his small studio feeling great, airy, and with a style that has represented - economically, of course. So, my secret weapon to rescue: "painting"!

Ladies - remember how you feel when you put on makeup that makes you look more beautiful than you already are? This is how a fresh coat of fresh paint feels (the beautiful house)!

Fellas - remember how you feel when your favorite team won a match, even if you are not yet a player in the game? This is how a fresh coat of fresh paint feels (winner at home)!

Did you know that you can paint almost anything in your house? Yes, anything! Here is a list of a variety of things you can use as a guide to go from cheap to chic by using the secret wand - paint:

Paint the walls:

Duh! Well, it was obvious! However, be creative when you paint your walls - mask the walls with painters tape to make geometric (classy!) Develop, or you can even use plates of different sizes to make circles with a pencil to paint on your walls . There are also murals Sassy providing the unexpected, such as, magnetic paint, paint painting, suede look, look linen.

Extra Tip: Use painter joined the band lines of the band with transparent glaze for extra protection against the jagged lines.

FABRIC PAINTING

Most of the time we are doing our best not to get stains or paint on our fabrics, but with a cheap "chic" mission in mind turn drab to Fab by painting your fabrics.

How to: Paint throw pillows, shower curtains, window curtains, a wardrobe of skirts with fabric paint (most hardware stores). Be sure to follow the curing time of paint dry, and wala - you have your own custom design chic!

PAINTING ceramics

Yes, you read that correctly - you can paint ceramic tiles in your bathroom. So if you currently have scary looking tiles that scream "color vomit" whenever you see, and economically transform your tile color blah wow!

What you need: 150 sandpaper, a brush cleaner, trisodium phosphate, boning / ceramic primer and your favorite color of latex paint.

PAINTING laminated wood:

Do you have a library that is laminated over books published in the 1960s? Then bring it to life with paint.

How to: Sand scrapes away the gloss, use a paint roller (with a brush will leave marks series) was the first to paint using your search fabulously new paint color, and seal color using polyurethane.

So take a look at scope of your furniture, which are laminated (aka: Easy to paint)? Most drawers are usually laminated. Hmmm, maybe you can paint each drawer a different color depending on the color scheme in your room. Simple! Percussive!

Designer Tip: instead of using a cloth to clean the dust after sanding, use a tack (a sticky) fabric.
