Breyer Paint

I need instructions on how to paint horses Breyer. I paint all my models, 25 to be exact. All my different businesses brushes, 9. I also have one of my 15 horses Breyer, I chose to paint. I need instructions also very complete. (Is it true that I have to sand all the paint off?)
