Birdhouse Art

I am a wooden nest box for the class of visual arts, and the main part of the project is how im going to decorate. Any good ideas?

I like the look of Victorian houses in San Francisco are called "Painted Ladies". This is an exaggeration, but that's what I like and that is how I paint my boxes.
