How to use a paint sprayer properly spray painting could well be one of the best inventions of our time. Seriously, if you've used spray paint on the work that you know what I mean. No more having to fuss with the possibility to reach all the places in your home. Now you can sit quietly and spray your paint with little or no extra work. Well, not quite ...
It certainly is a good way and not-so-good to use these tools slick. Keep in mind the power of these spray guns are and pay attention to all safety warnings before you try to run it. It would be wise to wear goggles and a mask for the face, especially if you work inside.
Once you have the safety down and are ready to begin, we still have to prepare the area for painting. Skipping this process can lead to huge mess to clean that you do not want to be witnessed. Preparation of the area, it must stick to and cover all the items you do not want painted. You should also make sure that the whole area is clutter free and safe to walk.
Then you must make sure that you paint is ready for use. Keep the paint without any chemicals and sunlight. Too much sunlight and turn the paint can dry and clog your gun. Always be sure to stir the paint early and often.
Now the fun part ... painting! There is little skill that goes into the distribution of the paint as evenly as possible. It will take a little practice, but the basic concept is to spray a constant moderate paint on the surface and keep the pistol under the same angle and same distance from the wall. Brush painting from left to right, from right to left for the walls and top to bottom, bottom to top corners, soffits and ceilings.
Target the top gun, somewhere around a foot from the wall (depending on the pressure of the gun) and not to leave an area longer than others.
Continue to work there. It will take time to develop perfection, but in all honestly it really is a machine easy and simple to use. Once you get off, you'll be well on your way to complete a paint job in much less time than the hand of the painting.
