Are these colors of the mural good for the family room in the basement? I have a family room rectangular basement, 11 feet by 22 feet (ceiling is white, 8 feet high), there is a door through a narrow wall, and two windows (5 feet long, 3 meters Top each) on the right side wall along with a rim under the windows. We will lay our Red Oak Gunstock laminate flooring, much like wood (which individual boards are 2 "wide, 3 different lengths.)
On the left wall before I paint a dark blue sea Balkans.

On the right wall with windows and the narrow wall with the door through it, will paint Wilton Blue.

Will white baseboard trim and window casing trim.
I think that painting the entire Balkan sea make room the room too dark future.
I have a room of similar size, but larger windows, and wood near the baseboards, and a lighter color on the ceiling a darker color on the walls.
I think your gorgeous colors (I've seen)
i wouldnt worry too much about the dark treatment room, as long as you have a ceiling, it will look great! be sure that you have chosen well! Experiment had a lot of scenery to part time.
These colors are beautiful. You have chosen colors a lot. With white accents, I think you very well and the blue sea of the Balkans will not be too dark. Enjoy!
As a color consultant I advise you not to paint the darkest Balkan Blue Sea, the color is sufficiently dark enough. Blue is a color Wilton fabulous and very quiet, it will bring a lot of "light" in the room. My suggestion? Paint the wall the window lights the Balkans and the rest of the room Wilton. The window wall is like the central wall of the room, use the shade to highlight the windows and natural light that comes into the room. I also suggest to install more artificial lighting. Even two table lamps and two floor lamps would be enough (they do not always be on). He takes an interest in the room and gives you an extra task lighting. My final suggestion is to change your light bulbs to Reveal bulbs, they are purest light and not a yellow cast.
Good luck!
The colors look great and sound on all. I think the real answer will depend on your lighting, the colors are on the dark side of what appears to be the amount of natural light, you'll get. Most landlords, however, more to come home by installing recessed lighting to compensate for the lack of natural light.
In the current new home market with the cost of homes to a record level, we must make the best use of all available space, including basements and attic areas (depending on design house). The key to this is lighting. We want the space to pursue our main living space Hense the new expression of lower level (instead of the basement). Twila thank you
I have a playroom in the basement and I want to go lighter. I have two windows of the size of yours, but it allows very little light. I wish had gone on all cream walls, white ceiling and trim.
If you do not like cream, pale yellow would be great. Blue and white accent pieces look great with pale yellow.
