Automotive Paint SuppliesHow to Buff Car Paint with polish

If your car has reached a stage that his painting is dull and faded, so maybe the car is repainted and it needs a smooth and glossy remove car wax years. The answer is rubbing compound. We'll be surprised, even with a clear coat finish and a good polishing results with the fine paste. It will really brighten up the finish by removing the film and yellowing wax that accumulates on the transparent layer.
Prerequisites:

- A polish the car that is finely cut, it can be found at any auto supply store or a professional auto paint supply.
- Polishing paste special covers, power circular buffer with a cloth or sponge to disk.
- Soft and clean towels or rags
- Clean water
- Safety glasses

Step 1

Rotary pad and terry cover and professional polish is the best quality for the application of heat above 50 degrees outside in direct sunlight. We should start later in the section of the car as the roof and then it can be worked back into the panels with easier access. The aim is that once an area is completed, we would not consider to reach another area.

Step 2
A small quantity of about one teaspoon of compound should be applied to the buffer memory buffer and a coffee spoon on the car of an amount of approximately 14 x 14 inches in the article. More can always be added as we continue or if there is a sense of polish.

Step 3
Prior to the buffer, the buffer can e slipped a bit around the car in the enclosure. The level should be set it a bit and define the area to be buffed. While pressing the button on the car, engine pad must be enabled. If the motor buffer is not activated during the car with the dough on it, spit all over the compound, including the person who did.

Step 4
Safety glasses should be worn. The buffer must be worked with reasonable pressure drop in a top, bottom or side of lateral direction. The final pass can be covered by about 50 per cent and work on a specific stretch of the car at a time until the compound is over. A large number of compounds is not required on the car that can dry out before reaching him. To be productive, working on a large part would not be a good idea.

Step 5
The buffer should be avoided by running on all sides unless a person is a professional and with a very light and fast start. It would be much better to hand the edges so we do not have a high risk of burning the paint.

Step 6
When an area is completed, it must be cleaned with water, then dried with a clean cloth. This will prevent scratches on the paint and it will therefore remove any remaining compound or gravel. It will also identify areas that may have been missed. The next section of work must be cleaned before applying the compound. It would avoid debris in the chamber to mix fresh that can scratch the finish.

Step 7
The finish everything must be inspected when you're done for, or missed spots or areas that may require more attention. The car can be rinsed with water, then the car is ready to be waxed with a wax product preferred. There is no protection offered to polish elements as in the case of wax.
