rank culinary schools? Can someone give me a list of cooking schools with rankings. I'm actually interested in the arts of baking, but the rankings for the school kitchen in general are perfect. Thank you!
Here are two websites that rank culinary programs. Many people will agree that the CIA (Culinary Institute of America) may be one of the most prestigious reputations. It is located north of New York.

I work for a college which has several locations with culinary arts Arts / baking (and restaurant management) programs. Culinary Arts and Pastry ART programs are almost always certificate programs versus programs of study. When talking with students, I let them know there are many options to consider when choosing a school. In addition to its reputation, you must consider location, cost, and perhaps most importantly what each offers individual programs. In all honesty, an accredited program will give you the skills you need to succeed - you need to find one that meets your specific needs.
If you are still in PLEASE school to talk to your college counselor. They have the tools and resources you need to find schools that offer culinary arts / baking, what their needs are, what their career statistical services (placement rate after graduation - which is very important to know), costs, scholarship opportunities, etc. Find at least three schools that look interesting to you and set up an appointment if possible. If the school is far away, you should be able to do a telephone interview. Remember you are interviewing the school as much as you are interviewing. Working with your advisor to get a list of issues that are important for responding to you and your needs. If you're not in high school you can search on the net or try to go to your local library. Reference librarians can offer you the means to verify that the programs are still available in your area.
There is a college out there for everyone who wants to earn an education. He takes the initiative to find the right one. Good luck and write me if I can be of any further assistance.

If you go to usnews.com go to college and the best place they have rankings for your major, you can search for colleges around the world for your specific major. Personally, I think either Johnston & Whales (Emeril went there) or the CIA (Culinary Institue of America) are the best, but good luck.
