Art Holidays

I'm in my first year at Universty, I'm studying fine arts and I live in Warrington during the holidays if I want to go to galleries in the northwest. I want to hear from people who work in galleries, people from the art industry and those who have work experience in the galleries.

I know it's a bit early but it may be long waiting lists, so I want to start contacting people as soon as possible.

It is difficult to find paid work at this stage in a gallery, but all the smaller galleries could use a pair of unpaid overtime hands with new exhibitions. If you send a cover letter with your CV outlining your goals and what your course involved and if you say how motivated, energetic and passionate you are, you will hopefully have some success.

Volunteer yourself to all galleries, big or small as you can find. I speak from experience! Good luck chick!
