Art Games For ChildrenReview of Martial Arts Games for children

With a background in both martial arts and a degree in physical education, I confess to being skeptical when I read Martial Arts Games for Children by Aaron Perry. I found some great games for education and maintaining student interest, loyalty and promote your martial arts school. I also found some points in the book, I think it could be improved. The writing itself

I must admit, I was in sales related areas of more than 30 years. Aaron Perry knows how to write good sales copy. Not only that, he has knowledge of martial arts and the ability to transfer knowledge and experience to his fellow instructors martial arts. I think this skill has been taken into consideration as he developed the games of martial arts to help ensure learning, loyalty and even advertising, word of mouth and on match days in the middle of his students and invited the students.

I kept a suspicious attitude that I have read Martial Arts Games for children

With a background in physical education, I am very picky about the games being associated with the activity, in this case, the martial arts. When my son six years, I took him out of several schools of martial arts and observed classes of children. Each martial arts classes for children doing the same thing.

* Warm-up unrelated to martial arts training or self-defense. Incidentally one of my teaching physical education said these children have a high metabolism, they are not technically necessary to "warm up" before engaging in physical activity.

* The relay races of various types unrelated to martial arts training or self-defense. In the relay races students spent most of their time standing behind another student looking at the back of his head that it was engaging in the activity or watching. So much for the benefits of compliance.

* The last fifteen minutes or so were devoted to the effective enforcement of martial arts exercises. Unfortunately, in my experience in sales, is the last 15 minutes to remind parents, remains satisfied with the progress of their child. I can not say with certainty that the parents remained convinced that I have never asked about the martial arts schools U-turn or retention.

As both a professional educator and parent, I was appalled by what I consider to be a waste of time for students as well as waste of time and financial investment for parents.

I confess that I read Becoming Impressed Martial Arts Games for children

I visited Mr. Perry has a game involving the business, he was trying to promote martial arts, serious in his book.

It even includes a section of frequently asked questions and tips on how to incorporate slowly plays in the martial arts schools in your curriculum. There are suggestions martial arts school marketing such as on game days. Students bring a friend of this nature and Perry offers a way to control the number of people who come to this promotional event.

When I finished reading Martial Arts Games for children

I admit I was impressed. However, all lesson plans and activities could be improved. For example, Mr. Perry made no mention of having small groups to increase real activity. I would also like to see mentioned forming lines need for the activity so that students could.
