Interior design: What is Art Deco? I have to make a presentation board for my class interior design, and my instructor told me I should go with a type Art Deco style. Can someone please help me with this? Explanation, for example, whatever .... Thank you:)
(I'm 13 years old, so I do not know, take it into account)
Art Deco style was popular in the 1920s and 1930s and is technically called, I think, in 1925, after the Art Nouveau style. Here are some links to start your research project. Think of the Roaring 20's, jazz, girls valve. It was during this period. I'm sure you can find plenty of information online. Get a magazine Art Deco to your local bookstore. Or simply sit at a Barnes & Noble with a cup of coffee and browse a few books. Good luck with your presentation panel. Relax. You will do great!
