What are the features of a home should be considered Art Deco? I'm not talking about fancy theaters and public buildings, etc., just build ordinary houses, either during that period or inspired by that period. I suspected they had these big square decorative ceilings, but there is nothing specifically that makes a house like Art Deco?
I do not think there was an architectural style known as Art Deco, but some features that might be. Above all, it applies to decorative effects, household goods and furniture.
But do not take my word as gospel.

Art Deco is a popular design movement from 1920 until 1939, on the decorative arts such as architecture, interior design and industrial design and visual arts such as fashion, painting, graphic arts, and film. This movement was, in a sense, an amalgam of different styles and movements of early 20th century, including Constructivism, Cubism, Modernism, Bauhaus, Art Nouveau, and Futurism. Its popularity peaked during the Roaring Twenties. Although many design movements have political or philosophical roots or intentions, Art Deco was purely decorative. At the time, this style was seen as elegant, functional and ultra modern. "
