I am a songwriter trying to put my songs with a publisher or an established artist .. ideas? My songs (I think) fall into the genre ... Americana folk, rock, blues with a country flavor. I am in the process of finding legitimate publishers on the Internet, but most will not accept unsolisited material, or they ask for money up front. I am independent, without counsel, without anyone to represent me. All my songs are done professionally in a state of the art studio. I joined some of them in a song writing contest, the winners will be notified in the fall. I have the protection of copyright. Of course, I am told by family and friends they are great! I need an objective opinion of a music industry professional. I recently found a few companys that accept edition unsolisited hardware (and has not requested U.S. dollars) and I await their reply. I'm open to suggestions ... Professional honest criticism would be welcome. If nothing else, I think it can be very therapeutic excersice .. hey, hey. Thank you for listening.
