Aerosol Paint

At work I use aerosol paint spary for certain things. I heard that they are harmful to the environment and cause pollution. Are there safer options for spray paint spary?

A spray pump or an air compressor powered spray would be more respectful of the environment of a propellant aerosol function.

I think something like a pesticide sprayer that can generate enough pressure to spray paint. See link

I second the motion for the electric gun or paint gun air powered, if the quality of paint job is very important. Aerosol sprays, however, are practical for small projects or make corrections.
